All matches will be best of three sets with the third set played as a 10-point Super Tie Breaker. We will also have a back-draw consolation round, so it will be a double-elimination event. All players who enter are guaranteed at least two matches. ($10 per entrant) Men’s Singles Players must be 18 or over. Compete in the Doubles Championships in honor of former Club Member Dick Petretti! All matches will be two out of three sets. The Doubles Championships will also feature a back-draw consolation round as well. ($10 per team) Women’s Singles Championships Don’t be shy, sign up for the Women’s singles event! We have a range of players at the Club, but this event should be accessible to anyone who feels like playing competitive singles. As with all the summer-long tournaments, each bracket will feature a back-draw ensuring at least two rounds of play! All matches will be best of three sets with the third set played as a 10-point Super Tie Breaker. ($10 per entrant) Women’s Singles players must be 18 or over. Women’s Doubles Championships Calling all Doubles partners! If you would like to play but need a partner, don’t despair! Let us know and we will try to find someone for you to play with! Long time doubles partners or players new to the Club, you will certainly meet some new players in the Women’s Doubles Tournament! All matches will be best of three sets with the third set played as a 10-point Super Tie Breaker. ($10 per team) Junior Boy’s Singles Championships This is a great tournament for boys fine-tuning their game through the Twin Oaks tennis team. Players must be 17 or younger. If you plan to be away all or most of the summer, you should probably not enter. We will have a back draw so the tournament will be double elimination. All matches will be best of three sets with the third set played as a 10-point Super Tie Breaker. Junior Girl’s Singles Championships Like the boy’s draw, players must be 17 or younger. There will be a back draw so losing one round does not put you out of the entire tournament! All matches will be best of three sets with the third set played as a 10-point Super Tie Breaker. The deadline for entries in the ongoing summer tournaments is June 29th. Matches may begin that week. I will be calling players to gently “encourage” them to play their matches! Finals will be scheduled as tournaments progress.
