ABOUT TWIN OAKS CLUB
Founded in 1978 on 33 acres of land, Twin Oaks is one of the most beautiful clubs in the area. We are looking forward to another fun-filled summer in 2011 and are excited to welcome everyone back to Twin Oaks! Come out and reacquaint yourselves with old friends, make some new friends and enjoy our beautiful club.
The main pool at Twin Oaks is 25 yards long, is heated and is designed to appeal to all types of swimmers. The shallow end, which is only three feet deep, has a gentle graduation; even the youngest and most cautious swimmers feel comfortable as they learn how to swim. The middle of the pool is dedicated to lap and competitive swimmers. At the far end of the pool, which is 13 feet deep, there are two diving boards. Twin Oaks has a competitive swim and dive team that offers children a chance to compete against other clubs around the county and also offers private and group swim lessons all summer by certified instructors. The second pool is a heated kiddie-pool for babies and toddlers and just a few steps down there is a playground with swings, climbing structures, slides and a volleyball net. The club also has a ping-pong table on the upper level and a shady picnic area. Around the pool area and playground there are several canopies and lounge chairs with umbrellas to provide shade.
Tennis
Twin Oaks has some of the most beautiful courts in the area. We have eight Har-Tru® courts that are well-maintained, with adjacent restrooms, changing rooms and a Pro-shop. Our tennis staff is always available to help players of all levels enjoy the game as they learn new skills. We have several competitive men's, women's and junior's USTA tennis teams that compete against other clubs in the area. In addition private lessons and clinics are offered throughout the summer.
